Field Technician Position
Job Summary
The Field Technician works closely with consultants, managing and building the customer base while gaining the experience needed to become an AEA Soil and Plant Health Consultant.
Job Objectives:

Learn regenerative agronomy consulting skills while assisting experienced AEA consultants
-
Build client success in partnership with the consultant team
-
Write nutritional programs and other documents for clients, working from consultant notes
-
Customer communications and screening calls to enhance the fluidity of primary consultants workload
-
Address customer questions
-
Improve customer retention
-
Be prepared to manage and maintain a significant customer base by the end of the first year
Job Duties:
-
Create and manage extraordinary customer relationships for assigned territory

Regularly identify and evaluate customer needs through on-site visits
-
Collect, organize, and analyze customer agronomic data
-
Consistently promote the most impactful products and services to new and existing customers
-
Maintain excellent records
-
Organize and conduct field trials
-
Help organize presentations, demonstrations, trainings, field days, and farm walks
-
Communicate effectively (both in writing and orally) with current and potential customers
-
Stay informed about industry and company developments
-
Properly manage administrative duties
-
Solicit references and success stories for promotional purposes
-
Represent AEA at trade shows and conferences
-
Perform other related duties for the company, as needed
